Southern Taurids Meteor Shower
September 10 @ 8:00 am - November 20 @ 5:00 pm
If you look to the sky between September 10 and November 20th, you will have a chance to see the Southern Taurids Meteor Shower. The shower will bring a total of about 5 meteors per hour. The shower will also peak on the night of November 5, 2024. That might be the best night to watch.
To have the best meteor shower experience, it’s recommended to be located in the Southern Equator. Here are some tips for watching a meteor shower:
- Give your eyes about 20 minutes to adjust.
- While viewing the meteor shower, stay away from city lights and don’t use your phone.
