Leonids Meteor Shower
November 6, 2024 - November 30, 2024
If you look to the sky between November 6 and 30th, you will have a chance to see the Leonids Meteor Shower. You can expect to see about 10 meteors per hour, if visibility is good. The shower will also peak on the night of November 16th. Here are some general tips for seeing a meteor shower:
- Give your eyes about 20 minutes to adjust.
- While viewing the meteor shower, stay away from city lights and don’t use your phone.
