Quadrantids Meteor Shower
December 28, 2023 - January 12, 2024
If you look to the sky between December 28 and January 12th, you will have a chance to see the Quadrantid Meteor Shower. The shower will bring a total of about 110 meteors per hour. The shower will also peak on the night on January 3rd. That might be the best night to watch.
To have the best meteor shower experience, it’s recommended to be located in the Northern Hemisphere. However, almost everyone can still see it. Here are some tips for watching a meteor shower:
- Give your eyes about 20 minutes to adjust.
- While viewing the meteor shower, stay away from city lights and don’t use your phone.
