NASA has recently announced the James Webb Telescope captured the sharpest images to date of the Horsehead Nebula.
Located 1,300 light years away, the Horsehead Nebula is located in the constellation Orion. The nebula formed from a collapsing cloud of material, and it glows thanks to a nearby hot star. From the images we can see, the gas clouds surrounding it have dissipated.
Astronomers estimate the Nebula has about 5 million more years to shine.
