This year, we can expect the Lyrids Meteor Shower to happen between April 14 and April 30th. The best night to watch these will be on the night of April 21st. You can expect to see about 18 meteors per hour. The Lyrids come from debris from comet Thatcher, which takes 415 years to orbit the sun. The comet will be visible from Earth in the year 2276.
