The best Meteor shower of the year is happening. The Geminids Meteor Shower is truly astonishing, boasting about 150 meteors per hour at it’s peak. The meteors are produced by an asteroid, which means you can expect some different colors. This might include white, yellow, and even green shooting stars.
This year, the peak of the Geminids Meteor Shower will peak on the night of Wednesday, December 13th. The shower is expected to be visible by 10:00pm EST, which means you don’t have to stay awake too late. As always, we have some tips for viewing the geminids:
