eta Aquariids Meteor Shower Peak

While the eta Aquariids meteor shower runs between April 1st and May 2nd, the best night to watch it is on May 5. It’s a decent meteor shower, with up to 50 meteors per hour. It’s one of the meteor showers that comes from Halley’s Comet, alongside the Orionid meteor shower. As always, here’s some tips for viewing the shower:

• Find a place to view, away from city lights.
• Your eyes will take about 20 minutes to adjust.
